What is managed IT

It means IT is finally somebody’s whole job. Ours.

One engineer who knows your environment, plus a lightweight agent on every computer and server, with Monitoring 24/7 on health and security. Most problems get fixed before you’d ever notice them, and for everything else, there’s one number to call.

We watch

Every machine reports its health and security to us 24/7, failing drives, missing updates, suspicious logins. Nothing waits for someone to complain.

We fix

Patches, updates and repairs happen quietly in the background, on a schedule, not in the middle of your workday.

We answer

Something weird? Call, email or message a real engineer. Printers to phishing, if it plugs in or logs in, it’s ours.

What's included

Included / Not included

One flat monthly package after assessment. No bronze, silver, or gold menus. If it has a plug or a login, we scope it into the plan or call it a project.

Included

  • Remote monitoring and alerting on covered devices and servers (Monitoring 24/7)
  • Unlimited help-desk tickets during business hours, remote-first, no scripts; emergencies escalated
  • Patch management for enrolled workstations (and servers if covered)
  • Endpoint security hygiene with managed detection and response (EDR/MDR) on covered machines
  • Email and identity basics with MFA where we manage the tenant
  • Backup oversight: confirm jobs run, call out failures, restore-test cadence as scoped
  • Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace day-to-day admin (users, licenses, MFA, mailbox help)
  • Network, Wi-Fi, and firewall management for covered office gear
  • Device setup, new-hire onboarding, and offboarding for enrolled users
  • Vendor coordination (ISP, Microsoft, printers, line-of-business apps)
  • Environment documentation kept current; you keep owner access (no hostage IT)
  • Plain-language health check-ins and light IT strategy / budgeting guidance

Not included

  • ×Big project installs and net-new builds (see Projects)
  • ×New office wiring, full Wi-Fi redesigns, or cabling jobs (quoted as projects → Networking, Build-outs)
  • ×Net-new camera or phone system installs (projects → Cameras, Phones)
  • ×After-hours onsite as the default (emergencies escalated; after-hours onsite quoted when needed)
  • ×Wholesale hardware markup theater: we help you buy right; large hardware buys are separate from the monthly plan
  • ×Formal compliance programs (HIPAA risk assessment, audits, attestations) as projects / add-ons → Compliance
  • ×Custom software / app development
  • ×Consumer home PC repair; whole-home Wi-Fi is project-only → Home Wi-Fi

Onboarding (weeks, not magic): Most offices start with a short onboarding window: inventory, risk list in plain language, tooling for monitoring and support, then the first full month of Managed IT. Onboarding is not a promise that a badly broken environment is fixed in 30 days.

Fit / not a fit: Discovery goes both ways. Good fit: commercial offices that want a founder-led partner watching the environment. Not a fit: buyers hunting the cheapest break-fix only, or expecting a 24/7 onsite SOC with no monthly partnership. We'll say so if we're not the right match.

Onboarding

Switching is our problem, not yours.

Worried that changing IT means chaos? Onboarding is a process we run. You barely feel it.

Week 1

We document everything.

Every device, password, vendor and license goes into one organized system. Most businesses see their full IT picture for the first time.

Week 2

We secure and deploy.

Monitoring agents on every machine, MFA rolled out, backups configured and tested. Your team keeps working; nothing interrupts them.

Weeks 3–4

We standardize.

Patching schedules, security baselines and an approved-software list, plus a short security-awareness kickoff for your staff.

Day 30

You get the roadmap.

A straightforward report of what we found, what we fixed and what’s next, with budgets attached.

Straight answers

Fair questions. Straight answers.

These come up on almost every call, so here they are, in plain English.

“What does onboarding cost?”

A one-time fee equal to your first month’s payment. It covers the ramp-up, documenting everything, rolling out our tools, and getting your environment secured and running. Then we get to work.

“Can’t we just call you when something breaks?”

You can. We do that too. But break-fix means the downtime already happened. Managed means problems get caught while they’re still small, and you stop paying for emergencies.

“We already have a guy.”

Common, and it can stay that way. We often work alongside an in-house person or owner: we take the heavy lifting, security, monitoring, patching, and they keep the day-to-day they know best.

“Do we really need all this security stuff?”

Attackers moved on from big companies to small ones, precisely because nobody’s watching. MFA, managed detection and tested backups are the seatbelt now, and your cyber-insurance likely already requires them. With us it’s all included, not an upsell.

“What happens to our current equipment?”

We keep what works, which is usually most of it. Once it’s documented and under management, anything genuinely end-of-life gets a straight recommendation and a budget, not a surprise.

“What does the agreement look like?”

Managed IT is a flat monthly rate on a written agreement. We set the term after we see your environment. You’ll have a clear number and a clear term before you sign.

When something breaks
1Message us, call, email or text
2A real engineer takes it from there
3Most issues are fixed remotely
4You get a short note on what happened and why
A good fit, both ways

Who this is for, and who it isn’t.

We’d rather be a great fit for a few than a mediocre fit for many. The discovery call goes both ways.

A great fit

3–50 person businesses in NY, NJ & CT that can’t afford downtime
Teams on Google Workspace or Microsoft 365
Regulated offices that need compliance done right

Not a fit

You want the cheapest option, not the most reliable one
Break-fix only, call when it’s already broken
Keeping unmanaged devices on the network
The cost of doing nothing
$3–5k
what one day of downtime runs a five-person office in payroll and lost work, before a single lost customer
Weeks, not days
how long the average ransomware event takes to recover from
Less than the outage
what the plan costs, and you’re one power surge away
Pricing

One package. One price. No games.

Forget comparing feature tables and being upsold to the next tier. We build one plan around your actual business, and tell you exactly what it costs.

Managed IT is a flat monthly rate on a written agreement. We set the term after we see your environment. You’ll have a clear number and a clear term before you sign. Onboarding is a one-time fee equal to your first month. Build-outs, moves and other projects are quoted per project; on-demand support outside a plan may be hourly, but most things are flat-rated.

01

We look at what you have

A short assessment of your setup, your team and where the risks are.

02

We talk it through

03

You get one package

Everything bundled into a single plan, sized for your business, not a tier off a shelf.

04

One clear price

A flat monthly rate, with payment terms and exactly what’s covered laid out plainly. No surprises.

"In under three hours he upgraded our entire network and migrated 20+ devices automatically. I'm sure there are less expensive consultants, but his work ethic and attention to detail make him worth every single penny."

Martin Dluzansky
★★★★★

"I went through five different technicians to compare knowledge and price. Besnik was, hands down, the best. He hardwired six TVs through the walls and took the time to teach me how to manage my own network. 10/10."
