What we back up
Encrypted copies of your computers, servers, email and cloud files go offsite on a schedule, without anyone having to remember. We follow the 3-2-1 rule: three copies, on two kinds of storage, with one offsite. Some copies are kept where attackers cannot reach them, so you can roll back instead of paying a ransom.
Backups are running within the first week of onboarding. A single file comes back in minutes, and a whole mailbox or drive in a few hours, depending on size.
Cloud backup of Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace email and files is in the Managed IT Complete plan. Backup for single computers and servers is priced per device, and setting up backup where there is none is a one-price project.
Not included: data that was never in the backup, legal-hold exports, and forensic recovery after a breach.

When something fails
An example. Someone opens a bad attachment and folders on the shared drive start getting encrypted from one laptop. We cut the laptop off from the network, which stops it. The affected folders come back from the 2:00 AM backup and the office is back to work by lunch.

Medical and professional practices
Practices that hold patient or client records need the backup tested on a schedule, and we run the restore ourselves. Retention is set to what your compliance rules need.
